Introduction

Narmada Mahotsav is going to be organized for two day duration i.e. 23-24 Oct 2018. It is a popular tourism event organized at Dhuandhar tourist spot, just 25 kms from Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh. It is two day event, organized every year, begins after sun-set. Narmada Mahotsav is organized and managed combinely by District Administration, Tourism Department and Jabalpur Tourism Promotion Council (JTPC).

Main Attractions

As mentioned Narmada Mahotsav is organized in scenic site of Dhuandhar water fall where variety of activities are offered to visitors. Some of the main attractions are exhibition of handicraft items, paintings, stalls of government authorities exhibiting government plannings & schemes, food stalls, cultural programs, music concerts etc. Every year famous personalities from Indian music, folk song artists, cultural dance groups etc. are invited to share their artistic values and entertain the visitors. Here we will also find dignitaries from Indian politics, administrative officers, bureaucrats, social workers are also invited to register their presence and appreciate the artists. In this year, famous artists like Kavita Paudwal, Sushri Akriti Mehra, Hansraj Hans, Chandra Mohan Thakur etc are likely to visit the program thus large number of visitors are expected to attend the two day event.

Here no entry fee will be charged from normal visitors. VIP guests are required to carry their VIP passes to enjoy the service. Here it is possible that they may arrange night-boating facility on one evening only. It will depend upon the climatic condition and arrangements.
