INTRODUCTION
Very few people are aware about this breathtaking place which is approx 22 km to the proximity of Khajuraho and 44 km from district headquarter of Panna. This beautiful water fall is situated on the Ken River, and comes in under Chhatarpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This is about 30 meters deep canyon formed with pure crystalline granite in different colors like pink, green, misty white, and red to grey. The most fascinating thing about this place is that, there is dozens of small and big falls in regular stretches, some of them are seasonal having furious water flow during rainy season. Ken River is encompasses Panna National Park, and Raneh water fall is just located where this Park is begin to start, this cascading waterfall is magnificently possessed a scenic surroundings of rocks and invariable mounds around. Green pristine forest gives you a glimpse of complete natural paradise and so this is an ideal place for nature lovers. River ken is quite prominent river in central India in terms of crocodile conservation, as an alligator national park has been set up along the banks of this river. The climate here is very adaptable for both alligators and crocodile, though alligators are not native to ken river. Landscaping is become so spectacular in rainy season as the black and pink basalt rock provide a wondrous look and flourish water force gives a mesmerizing look. But Panna National Park remains closed as rainy season considered being the breeding season for most animals.
HOW TO REACH
By Air: Raneh Fall is at a distance of 22 km from Khajuraho, so one has to reach khajuraho airport first which is only 03 km away from Khajuraho town, and one can cover Raneh Fall sighting after having a detailed look over fascinating Khajuraho Temples, those are famous worldwide for its amazing sculptures and temple architectures. Khajuraho Airport is well connected to many cities in India, like with National capital Delhi, Financial capital Mumbai, and other famous cities like Varanasi, Bhopal, Indore those are major cities with major Airports in central India.
By Train: Raneh Fall is 22km from Khajuraho, though Khajuraho doesn’t have its own railway station, so one should arrive first at Mahoba Railway Station (MBA), which is nearly and about 74 km from Khajuraho bus station, after arriving here, one can hire taxi or hired car for Khajuraho and then can head for Raneh water fall.
By Road: Being an important cultural destination Khajuraho has a wide connectivity of public and private buses, one can hire private taxi or car to reach Raneh falls, there are many bus operators those ply there deluxe AC and Non AC buses to Khajuraho from various cities. Jhansi is about 172 km while Delhi is about 596 km. one can board the train for Jhansi, which is connected with Delhi rail network, and get in to the Khajuraho by suitable road transport.

Reaching Amarkantak by Train/ Railways :-
The nearest railhead to Amarkantak is Pendra Road at a distance of 17 km from the heart of the city. Anuppur at distance of 48 km from Amarkantak is also convenient for the tourists. Taxi charges are Rs 300 from Pendra Road and Rs 600 from Anuppur.
Reaching Amarkantka by Bus / Roadways :-
There are state owned transport buses from Pendra Road, Shahdol and Bilaspur. Amarkantak is connected by buses to Jabalpur (245 km), Rewa (261 km) and Shahdol (67 km).
