At Madhya Pradesh, all safari destinations are managed by forest department of Madhya Pradesh. It means all the rules and regulations are planned, declared and implemented by this department. Here most popular mode of safari is jeep safari. In this mode, open safari jeep is provided to maximum 06 person. With the increase in tourism, later canter vehicles are introduced. Canter is just a open bus thus its carrying capacity is more than jeep and visit cost is also less. In addition to this, some national park, having popular river passing through them, offers boat safari like Satpura national park, Panna national park. Walking safari or nature walk is possible in almost all the national park but at some selective forests, it is operated by park management where as in other destinations, it is operated and handled by deluxe or luxury private resorts. Personal vehicle are almost not used for jungle safaris.
