Madhya Pradesh has many Jain pilgrimage places with high sacred value. Shri Shantinath Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra at Bajrangarh is one such holy destination in Madhya Pradesh. It is a world famous for attractive miraculous idols of Lord Shantinath, Kunthunath & Arahnath in standing posture. It is located in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh on Guna-Aron-Sironj route. Atishaya Kshetra in Bajrang garh is about 1200 years old with high historic value. Here we can find idols of Lord Shantinath (18 feet), Kunthunath (10 feet, 9 inch) and Arahnath (10 feet, 9 inch) in khadagasan (standing posture). It is beautiful place, surrounded with scenic natural beauty. Apart from this temple, many other Jain temples were develope in this region which can be visited during pilgrimage tour to Bajrangarh. Two other beautiful Jain temples are located in the village are Bhagwan Parsvanath Jinalaya, in main market and second one is constructed by Shri Harish Chandra Tarka. Attractive magnificent pictorial Trikal Chaubeesee is being designed in Tarkaji's Temple. Earlier this place was named Jain Nagar but later it was renamed as Bajrang garh due to presence of popular Hanuman temple in the fort as Bajrang Garh. Here Bajrangarh fort is located on the east of temple site.
