Bundela Cenotaphs are mainly found in Orchha which is a small township or may say it as a village at North of Madhya Pradesh state in Central India. It is located on the bank of Betwa river, close to Madhya Pradesh & Uttar Pradesh state border, just 20 kms from Jhansi city. Here we will find tall cenotaphs, located on the bank of Betwa river. In Hindu religion, mostly cremation of bodies are done on the bank of local rivers so that further post death rituals can be performed conveniently. These cenotaphs are of Kings and royal family members of Bundela dynasty thus we call them Bundela Cenotaphs also. These lofty cenotaph buildings are built and decorated beautifully which is enough to indicate that the body cremated on those spots are of some special person. These cenotaphs are the identity of Orchha and in all media, their pictures had represented Orchha tourism. While traveling from Khajuraho to Jhansi or vice versa, they are visible from highway i.e. around from distance of 15 kms. Tourists from all over the world visits them, throughout the year. When we get closure to them , we will notice that it is a multi-storeyed building,
