Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival

Arrive at Jabalpur airport our representative will be waiting for you at terminal exit gate. After freshen up, drive to Kanha national park. This will be approx. 04:00 hr long journey. Have some quick tea/coffee at Jabalpur and then drive to Kanha national park. It will be scenic journey with hilly forest, tribal villages, towns, Narmada river crossing and drive to Kanha forest area. On reaching Kanha national park, relax at your resort. If time permits, you may attend evening jungle safari or spend sometime at library or have small walk around resort and later do you preparation for morning safari drive. Day 02:

This day will be for jeep safaris. We will do morning and evening jungle safaris thus it will be a busy day, dedicated for forest exploration and photography.

Day 03:

On this day, we will continue our Kanha forest exploration, through jeep safaris. We will do morning and evening safari drives.

Day 04:

Do morning safari at Kanha national park. This will be our last safari drive in this tiger reserve. Later we will undertake a surface drive from Kanha national park to Bandhavgarh. This will be approx. 05:30 hr long drive in north-east direction. This will be an amazing ground transfer from Satpura range to Vindhya hilly region which will reveal different topography of Madhya Pradesh state. Majority of time, we will pass through forested terrain, plateau drrive and small tribal villages. Here we will travel on route which was developed during the period of famous 1896-97 famine when British India colonial era. On reaching Bandhavgarh, just relax at your lovely resort and do the necessary safari preparations for next morning safari drive.

Day 05:

On this day, do morning and evening jeep safaris at Bandhavgarh national park. It was one time private hunting reserve for Baghel dynasty rulers and was private property till 1962. Later Indian government took over the control and wildlife conservation activities begun here. Enjoy the wildlife photography at Vindhya hill forests which are natural habitat for many wildlife species like tigers, samdar deer, spotted deer, wild elephant, barking deer etc. High density of tigers make this forest special among big cat lovers and ideal place for photography safaris.

Day 06:

We will continue our jeep safari drives for morning and evening hours. We will do morning and eveninig safaris. As per sighting updates, we will decide our safari zones and try to explore all popular safari areas. This is possible when we will get confirmation in advance so that timely we can book the safari permits. apart from animals, we can also photograph the forest area with grassy meadows, hilly cliffs, thickly green valley area, water holes. bamboo forest, sal forest regions.

Day 07:

This will be our last day in Bandhavgarh forest. We will do the morning safari drive and later drive to Jabalpur city in south-west direction. On reaching Jabalpur, relax for sometime at hotel and attend evening Narmada arti and watch the evening life of this city.

Day 08:

This will be our last day of tour package. We will utilize the day with visit to Bhedaghat marble rocks. Morning is the best time to explore the naturally beautiful region where we find most ancient river of India, passing through a grand marble rocks canyon which is also a natural habitat of many bird species like egyptian vultures, mottled wood owl, barn own, eagle owl etc. Later drop to Jabalpur airport, for departure.
