Pachmarhi was the summer capital of Britishers. According to a tell, For beat the summer English women used to bathe in this pool during the British rule time in India. As the English ladies wore white clothes while bathing, locals thought them to be fairies and hence named the pool as Apsara Vihar or Fairy Pool. This waterfall is one of the best waterfall in Pachmarhi. It was deep inside the Jungle. One has to walk little down in the Jungle & there you see a small but beautiful waterfall there. It was not a big one but a small waterfall with a good platform to sit & enjoy the nice flow of water. Better to take caution near the waterfall platform because that area is deep enough. Located just 13 km away from the Pachmarhi bus stand, Apsara Vihar can be reached through gypsy, which can be hired by tourists.
