Here MPSTDC has developed a deluxe accommodation facility is island, formed due to backwater of Narmada river thus offers a good family time for tourists, friends and honeymoon couples. As per its name, it is surrounded by water thus here we can enjoy water tourism activities like cruise ride, speed boating, skurfing, paddle boating. In addition to this, tourists can also do excursion tours to popular Malwa tourism destinations like Maheshwar, Mandu, Hanuwantiya, Omkareshwar, Bajirao Peshwa Chhatri (cenotaph) and more.

Weekend Getaway

Sailani island destination is just 90km from Indore city, developed on backwater of Indira Sagar dam which is built on Narmada river. Large number of local citizen of Indore city and outside visitors who are visiting Indore for some conference or corporate events, may also visit this destination as weekend getaway destination. We are operating getaway trips from Indore to Sailani island. Large number of families and newly wed couples undertakes this weekend getaway trip to have a change from routine like and to rejuvenate themselves to have some freshness in life.

Accommodation

As the name suggests Sailani island is surrounded by backwater of Indira Sagar dam thus we cannot reach hotel, by vehicle. Upto a certain point, we have to park our vehicle and use hotel management boat facility to reach one and only MPT Sailani Island resort which is developed and managed by MPSTDC (Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation) thus we can easily trust on there service and hospitality. Here accommodation features are as follows: 

1. Rooms are of 2 categories: AC Cottage Rooms and AC Suite rooms
2. All the rooms are on only one meal plan i.e. APAI (includes: Lunch + Dinner + Breakfast + Morning & Evening Tea)
3. No rooms are offered in room-only or bed and breakfast option.
4. Activity charges are separate.
5. You have to reach in daytime only as boating in night hours is unsafe for tourists. So always visit the resort in day time only.
6. For weekends, holiday dates, new year dates, must book 30-45 days in advance to avoid rooms sold-out problem.
7. Due to pilgrimage location, avoid any liquor and non-veg meals in this destination. Enjoy the view and activities.
