Introduction

Bhopal is a capital city of Madhya Pradesh state and also have a great historical background thus it is obvious that it must be having a place where we can witness the great past of this region through the collections of state muesum. It lies at Shymala hills location of Bhopal city. Here visitors can explore 17 galleries on which we can find nicely preserved documents of mediaeval age, prehistoric excavated items, fossils, coins, arms, postal stamps, art and cultural artifacts, musical instruments. This museum was established in 1964. Its present building inaugurated on 02Nov2005 by state chief minister.
