Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival

Our tour will begin with our arrival at Indore airport or railway station. As per time in hand, we will explore the city. It is largest commercial city of Madhya Pradesh state with influence of Marathi culture. Here major sightseeing places are temples, cenotaphs and street food shops.

Day 02: Indore to Ujjain (1:10 hr)

After breakfast, we will drive to Ujjain to explore our first Jyogirlinga temple. Here Mahakaleshwar temple comprises jyotirlinga thus visit this temple and explore Shri Mahakal lok. Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh is a small but historical township, located on the bank of holy Shipra River. It is counted among popular tourist attractions under Madhya Pradesh Tourism. As per available time, do Ujjain sightseeing in which you can visit to Mahakaleshwar temple, Ram Ghat, Shakti Peeth etc.If you are interested in Mahakaleshwar Bhasm Arti then please do online advance booking by own and carry original ID documents (all visitors) during trip. Beware of fake private booking sites and touts. Here some of the temples are located in narrow lanes where large cabs & mini buses can't go so our vehicle will drop you to nearest possible point and further you need to manage by walking or locally available means of transport.

Day 03: Ujjain to Omkareshwar (3:45 hr) to Maheshwar (1:30 hr)

After breakfast, we will resume our trip and proceed to Omkareshwar. This will be 150 kms drive so manage time accordingly. On reaching Omkareshwar just do the hotel check-in and proceed first for Mamaleshwar jyotirlinga temple complex. Here we will find many temples in this complex so one by one, we will cover all of them. Later, by crossing the Narmada river, we will cover Omkareshwar temple and its adjoining temples. If you want you can cross the river by boat or by rope bridge. In first view, it looks like Lakshman Jhoola of Haridwar. After visiting all the points, we will drive to another scenic destination Maheshwar. It is just 1:30 hr drive to Maheshwar town, located on the bank of Narmada river.

Day 04: Maheshwar to Indore

This will be our last day of tour package. Wake up early in the morning to witness the scenic sunrise of Maheshwar. This moment should be captured on camera. Later take breakfast and visit Maheshwar fort, located on the bank of Narmada river and one time power center of whole Malwa region. This fort is also called Ahilya fort with a portion used as luxury heritage hotel. Later we will drive to Indore for departure

1. If you want to attend Bhasm arti at Ujjain Mahakaal temple, please book it in advance through valid online link. Beware of touts and fake online booking websites.

3. Do not feed monkeys near temples and avoid carrying any food item in open. Monkeys are active near temples thus beware of them.
