Introduction
Rani Durgavati museum is the replica of great history of Jabalpur region. It is centrally located near Bhanwar Taal garden area, close to Russel chowk. Thus location wise it is locatd at city centre. It is spread over a large area with large collection of heritage rock-carved statues, ancient coins, tribal lifestyle etc. After Mauryan dynasty, this region was under the rules of Sunga, Satavahana, Kushana, Sakas, Kalchuris, Gonds. This museum site connects us with ancient eras in the form of articles of that period. At present major collection is from Kalchuri and Gond dynasty.
