Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Gwalior

Our tour will begin with your arrival at Gwalior airport. On reaching the airport, our representative will be waiting for you. Once pickup is done, we will drive towards our hotel room. After freshen up and lunch, we will proceed for some local visit. We will cover Jai Vilas palace museum visit. At evening hours, we have option to attend sound and light show event, held at Gwalior fort complex. While visiting this city, we will notice that city have deep roots of Scindia dynasty and their influence is still visible at majority of road junctions and other places in the form of various statues from this royal family. Visiting city is like a timeline journey in which we will notice ancient history with modern world.

Day 02: Gwalior sightseeing

In this day, we will do full-day guided sightseeing. In this day, we can divide the day into 2 parts. In first part, we will cover attractions outside city area like Mitawali, Padawali, Bateshwar temples site etc. All of them are worth to visit and photograph them. Later drive back to city and take lunch. In post lunch session, we will try to cover grand Gwalior fort complex. If time permits, we may try to visit Tansen tomb.

Day 03: Gwalior to Orchha

After breakfast, we will undertake a surface drive from Gwalior to Orchha, in south-east direction. This will give us impression as if we are moving from one kingdom to another kingdom. Here we will left Scindia dynasty region and enters into Bundela dynasty area. This drive will give us exposure to famous Bundelkhand region, views of local housing pattern, village sites, local market scenes and idea about the geographical conditions and local topography. This driver may take approx. 03:00 hr.duration. On reaching Orchha, we will relax at our room, for sometime and have lunch. Later in post lunch session, we will do guided sightseeing of Orchha monuments.

Day 04: Orchha to Khajuraho

After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho. This will be approx. 4:00 hr journey through expressway route. Our aim will be to reach our Khajuraho hotel before lunch time so that we can relax and have our lunch. Their is possibility to do enroute visit to Dhubela museum site. It is worth visiting, if time permits as it will take you back to the 17th-18th century period when Bundela power center was shifted from Orchha to Panna region. In post lunch session, we will visit local Adivart tribal museum. You will enjoy visiting this museum because it will give you exposure to the tribal lifestyle of Madhya Pradesh which we are not covering in given tour. Here we have chance to see traditional gods of tribal society, their housing pattern, dressup etc. It offers direct experience of tribal culture of Central India, at short span of time. It is a photogenic musuem thus pay camera fee and take photographs. Just note that museum remains close of every Monday and government holidays. After sunset, if interested, we may attend sound and light show, held at the venue of Western Group of temples. In order to understand the first hand history of Khajuraho, this show is worth visiting but if you are feeling tired then you may skip it as on next day, we will explore the same venue in day time.

Day 05: Khajuraho to Panna National Park

In this day, we will do early morning visit to Khajuraho temples. Just note that morning time is best for temples sightseeing thus we give stress on early morning period. If you have good camera and interested in photography then morning hours are best for impressive photography as with the sunrise, sunlight fall directly at the entry gates of temples. All the temples are East facing thus morning time is recommended and accordingly we adjust our tour schedule. This will be a guided sightseeing in which we will cover Western and Eastern group of temples. Major cluster is in Western group of Temples  thus it is the most important group among all the clusters and its infrastructure is also better than other groups. Khajuraho sightseeing mostly begins from this group because ticket counter is located here. Other clusters like Eastern and Southern, have very few temples. Visiting the temples need long walks and standing thus visitors need to be physically fit. Those who have health issues, may use wheel-chair facility, available at entry gate. On completing this sightseeing, we will return back to our hotel, do the preparations for check-out. Later we will drive to nearby Panna national park. We will our resort in hardly 35 minutes. After taking lunch, we will attend the evening safari drive.

Day 06: At Panna National Park

In this day, we will do the morning and afternoon jeep safaris. Here morning safari begins before sunrise thus we have to wake up early around 05:00 AM and take morning coffee and collect our pack breakfast. Recheck you should must carry your ID document during all safari drivers as it will be verified at entry gate. Here we need to note that mobile phones are now a days not allowed to carry during safaris thus you must carry your camera for photography. Their is a fixed point inside the safari zone, to have breakfast. At this point restroom (washroom) facility will also be available.

Day 07: Panna National Park to Jabalpur

After breakfast, we will drive towards southern direction to reach Jabalpur, before lunch time. Here we will have lunch and later do half-day city tour. On reaching Jabalpur city hotel, we will relax for sometime and have lunch. Later we will take 40 min. drive to Bhedaghat. It is a famous tourist attraction site, approx. 25 km from city center. This is the region where old Jabalpur was located and one time power center area of Kalchuri dynasty. Current city area was developed in later phases when Gond dynasty and British India government took control of this region. Bhedaghat is actually the name of a village where we can find ancient rocks of Dinosaur era thus from archeological point of view, it is a great site to visit, explore and understand its greatness. Here India's oldest river Narmada passes through natural marbae rock canyon. Through boating, we will explore these sites. Here ropeway option is also available for visitors. For visiting this site, we need to  take lunch and quickly drive to Bhedaghat, without wasting time in hotel room. This is because boating operates before sunset. No boating allowed after sunset thus we need to mind our visit timings. Once Bhedaghat visit gets completed, with will drive straight to Gaurighat to attend Narmada arti event. It is another popular city tour attraction to under greatness of Hindu religious culture in which we will see how a river is treated like a mother and worshipped on daily basis. It is an example to see how we human beings see god in nature.

Day 08: Departure at Jabalpur

This will be our last day of tour package. As per time in hand, we will do some local city tour and later drop to Jabalpur airport or railway station. Their are many other sightseeing spots in Jabalpur city itself thus if we will have time in hand, we should must do some more sightseeing like visit to Balance rock, Madan Mahal fort, Kachnar city temple, Rani Durgavati museum, Freedom Fighter museum and some attractions in Jabalpur cantonment area. For doing such sightseeing, better idea is to do hotel room check-out and then start the sightseeing so that we will remain free from tension of returning back to hotel and doing check-out formalities and to also avoid alert calls from hotel to leave the room.

Here we have shared some important notes for guests, which are related to the given tour plan.

1. Panna national park is a popular safari destination thus remains in demand thus in order to secure core zone safari permits, we should must confirm the tour plan at least 100 to 140 days in advance.
2. Destinations like Khajuraho, Orchha, Gwalior are popular tourist destinations and also becoming destination marriage destinations thus in the months from November to March, here standard, deluxe and luxury hotels often get fully sold out for grand events. In order to secure our rooms in good hotels, we need to book them in advance else we may face problem of not getting room in upper category of hotels. 
3. As majority of destinations are popular heritage tourism sites and guides are limited thus we must try to book our guides in advance, especially in peak season dates. Here sightseeing timings also matters as guides will give us a fixed time slot and it is our duty to give respect to the booked time slot else we may miss good guide service. We need to be time conscious during heritage sites sightseeing.
