Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival - Jabalpur - Bandhavgarh (04:00 hr)

For beginning the tour package, Jabalpur airport is the most appropriate point as it have good flight connectivity from major airports at Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad. On reaching the Jabalpur airport, we will be waiting for you at exit gate, with placard of your name. From here we will drive towards north-east direction for reaching Bandhavgarh national park. It will be nice journey offering varying landscapes, plateau topography with some very old basalt rock formations. On reaching Bandhavgarh resort, just relax at your room and do the preparations for next morning jeep safari drive. All the safari details will be shared with your resort management team thus you will easily get the safari vehicle, timing related information. Just keep in mind that for all the jungle safari drives, you need to carry your original ID for verification purpose and collect it back. During all the safari drives, ID document will be verified every time. Resort will arrange your water bottles and pack breakfast.

Day 02: Bandhavgarh

Do morning and evening safari. Begin the day with morning tea at resort and later proceed for your jeep safari drive. Your safari vehicle will be waiting for you at lodge parking area. Proceed with your pack breakfast, to have it during morning safari drive. Before proceeding, just recheck you have your permit, original ID document, water bottle, pack breakfast (for morning safari only), camera battery properly charged and ready for photography. Once you leave the Tala village, be ready with your camera as both core zone forests area can give surprised sighting at anytime.

Day 03: Bandhavgarh

Do morning and evening safari. Enjoy the amazing sighting of mammal species and birds of Bandhavgarh tiger reserve. During safari drive, we can do nice photography of animal species, birds, topography, safari trails etc. Every safari zone have its own specialty.

Day 04: Bandhavgarh to Jabalpur (04:00 hr)

Do morning safari and drive to Jabalpur. On reaching Jabalpur hotel, just freshen up. At evening hours, you may attend Narmada arti event. It is an 30 minute soulful evening, organized on the Narmada river bank in which this holy river is worshipped by devotees. It is indeed a very photogenic event to attend and experience.

Day 05: Jabalpur to Satpura National Park

After breakfast, drive to Bhedaghat. Here we will do morning boat ride on holy Narmada river and pass through scenic marble rock cliff valley. From there we will further drive to Satpura national park. On reaching Satpura national park, we will have lunch and after short rest, attend a evening boat safari.

Day 09: Satpura National Park to Bhopal (03:00 hr)

Do morning jeep safari drive as the last safari experience of this trip. Later we will drive towards north direction to reach Bhopal city. Enroute, we will visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Bhimbetka rock shelters.

Day 10: Bhopal - Airport - Departure

As per available time, we will do local sightseeing and later drop to the Bhopal airport, for final departure.

Here we have shared some important notes for guests, which are related to the given tour plan.

1. As Bandhavgarh and Satpura national park are popular safari destination thus here we should must confirm the tour in 3-4 months in advance. This will enable us to book safari permits of popular safari zones. Delay in decision will spoil our jungle safari experience.
2. Tour package cost will vary for Indian nationals and Foreign nationals. Reason is due to difference in jungle safari price at Bandhavgarh and Satpura national park.
3. Boat ride at Bhedaghat destination operates from 16Oct to 15 June and remains closed in rest of the dates, due to monsoon season. Local management authority retains the right to change boating operational dates or issue order to keep it closed on special occasions as per ground situation.
