Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival - Bhopal

Our tour will begin with your arrival at Bhopal airport or railway station. Our cab will report before arrival time and wait for your arrival. Once pickup is done, we will drive to our hotel. Do the check-in and freshen up. After some relaxation, if time permits, do the local visit. In this day visit to city museums like Tribal museum. It remains open from 12:00 noon to 08:00 PM (Monday closed). They are vast and visit takes time thus we may visit only one of them at a time. If not interested in museum visit, then we may do short excursion for Bhojpur temple or may spend our time in lakeside area.

Day 02: Bhopal Sightseeing

In this day, we will first visit famous UNESCO world heritage site i.e. Sanchi Stupa park. It is approx. 55km away from main city thus it will take approx. 1hr to reach. Here we will explore the great Buddhist heritage site with collection of many Stupas of different sizes and their story telling gateways.We will cover it in post breakfast session. Later on drive back to our hotel and take lunch. Later drive to Bhimbetka rock shelters. It is again outside city, at south-east direction. It is a UNESCO world heritage site, located at Ratapani tiger reserve area. It is a natural site with huge rocks, at hill tip, visible from 10-15 km. Here we will find ancient rock paintings. Later drive back to hotel in Bhopal.

Day 03: Bhopal - Satpura NP (03:00 hr)

After breakfast, drive to Satpura national park, located in south-east direction. It is a scenic dense forest spread over Satpura range which offers shelter to many wildlife species. After taking lunch, we will do the evening jungle safari. Satpura forest is natural habitat for many popular wildlife species like Tigers, Leopards. Sloth Bear, Indian Gaur, Barking Deer, Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Indian Giant Squirrel, Flying Squirrel, Black Buck, Wild Dogs etc. Doing jeep safari will be a great experience and will offer many opportunities for good wildlife photography shots.

Day 04: Satpura NP Safaris

Do morning and evening safaris. Satpura tiger reserve is one of the best Central India park for sloth bears, leopards, giant squirrel, tigers. Here safari activities are mainly concentrated through Madhai gate and Bheemkund gate. As per ongoing tiger sighting information, we will choose the most happening safari zones and conduct the safari activities. Here safaris are conducted in 2 rounds i.e. morning safari round and afternoon or evening safari round. Due to restriction of mobile phones in safaris, please carry your own camera for photography purpose.

Day 05: Satpura NP - Pachmarhi (02:30 hr)

After breakfast, drive to neighboring hill station Pachmarhi. It is basically part of Satpura tiger reserve thus surrounded by dense hilly forest and valleys. It was a one time hidden tribal village about which rest of the world were unaware. During expedition trip, it was visited by British Officer Captain James Forsyth, in 1962 and thus introduced to the world thus it is a popular name in this region. At the same time, Pachmarhi region forest was the same area about which we study in the popular book "The Lonely Tiger" by Allen Huges. At Pachmarhi, we will do the visit to local sightseeing points. These points are basically natural sites, associated with Hindu gods and godess, mythological believes and associated by old dieties.

Day 06: Pachmarhi Sightseeing

On 6th day of tour package, we will do full-day sightseeing of Pachmarhi. In this day, we will use jeep vehicle to cover all major forest area points and non-forest area points. For forest area points, only registered jeep vehicles are used thus its hiring is necessary for sightseeing. We will cover some popular points like Reechgarh, Dhoopgarh, Handi Khoh, Apsara fall, Duchess fall, Pandav caves, Bee-fall etc. For this sightseeing, visitors need to do lot of walking thus good physical fittness is expected. If you are not able to undertake rigrous walk, avoid hard-work points.

Day 07: Pachmarhi - Jabalpur (05:00 hr)

After Pachmarhi visit, get ready for Jabalpur trip. On completion of breakfast, drive to Jabalpur on west direction. Traveling on this route is basically going parallel to Satpura range and Narmada river in which we will notice the fertile land with some fatory setups. As this route land is fertile thus it is popular for good sugarcane cultivation and thus we may find many local vehicles loaded with sugarcane crops and industrial setups are sugar factories. Just before reaching Jabalpur city, we will cover world famous marble rock site i.e. Bhedaghat destination. Here we will do boating, ropeway ride and temple visit. Later drive to our hotel in Jabalpur city. At evening, attend Narmada arti and do city visit.

Day 08: Jabalpur - Amarkantak (05:00 hr)

Begin the day with morning breakfast. After breakfast, do check-out process so that we can devote rest of the time for city tour, no tension of doing check-out process. We will explore the city with many historical points which will take us back to history of Gond dynasty, Kalchuri dynasty era and British India colonial period. We will cover places like Rani Durgavati museum (Monday closed), Thugs execution point, Ghantaghar towe or victory tower, War memorial point etc. Later in post lunch session, we will drive to Amarkantak, at west direction. This will again an interesting journey as it will offer you drive

This will be the last day of tour package thus we will have relaxed morning. After breakfast, wind up your luggage and drove to nearby railway station or airport, for departure.

1. At Satpura national park, during jeep safaris, mobile phone will not be allowed thus must carry your own camera for wildlife photography.
2. Majority if Madhya Pradesh state museums remain closed on every Monday and government holidays.
3. At every Wednesday, evening safari round, in core zone, remains closed at Satpura national park.
