Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival

On arrival at Jabalpur airport, transfer to Bandhavgarh. This will be a scenic journey.

Day 02:

In this day we will do morning and evening jungle safaris to enjoy the wilderness of Bandhavgarh. Just remember that both Bandhavgarh and Kanha national park remains closed for full day on Diwali and Holi festivals and half-day close (evening safari) on every Wednesday.

Do morning and evening safari.

Day 04:

This will be our last day in Bandhavgarh in which we will attend morning safari drive and later proceed to Kanha national park (260kms/06:00hrs). It is another popular and well managed national park in India. It is knows for good tiger sighting, vast meadows, beautiful landscapes and nestles some rare wildlife species that we can see only in Kanha and no where else. By evening we will reach our resort in Kanha national park. After dinner, we will relax at our room. Do necessary preparations for next day morning safari drive.

Day 06:

After breakfast, we will drive for Tadoba national park (350kms/08:00hrs). It is located in Maharashtra state of India. While driving from Kanha to Tadoba national park, we will notice the change in peoples language, dress-ups, culture, housing styles, landscapes etc. Tadoba national park is close to Chandrapur town of Maharashtra state which is close from Nagpur city. In compare to Kanha and Bandhavgarh, Tadoba national park is hot. Its vegetation is different from Kanha and Bandhavgarh. After reaching resort in Tadoba national park, from a large journey, we will just relax for rest of the day and get prepared for next day safari drive.

Day 07:

Do morning and evening safari drives. Here probability to see tigers is high as forest is not as much dense as we have seen in Kanha and Bandhavgarh. Here we have better animal visibility. Presence of lakes in this forest is added advantage and offers sighting of crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Day 08:

Do morning and evening safaris.

Day 09:

If time permits, do morning safari and later drive to Nagpur airport, for departure.

1. As it involves some very popular tiger reserves thus tour must be booked 140 days in advance so that we can timely book the safari permits.
2. Tour package cost will vary as per guest nationality (Indian or Foreigner). Reason for variation is the cost difference on safari permits for Indian and Foreigner visitors.
