Madhai zone is a core zone of Satpura national park which is old and very popular among visitors. It lies in north part of Satpura tiger reserve and considered as the most popular safari zone. Major factors which ensures its popularity are like variety of stay options, presence of back water which ensures scenic beauty and variety of safari activities like jeep safari, walking safari, boat safari and night safari.
Madhai zone is hilly terrain with dense forest, rocky topography. Presence of dam backwater ensures sufficient water supply to this zone and these things defines the animals presence and density in this safari zone.
