Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Raipur / Jabalpur - Kanha national park (04:30 hr)

For reaching Kanha national park, choose your suitable airport option. Here Jabalpur airport and Raipur airport will be most suitable options. On arrival at airport, our cab will take you to your pre-booked resort at Kanha national park. Enjoy enroute countryside views, local village life glimpses, landscapes and vegetation. In this day, just relax at your resort and enjoy the campus area. Do preparations for next day morning jeep safari drive.

Day 02: Kanha national park safaris

In this day, we will formally begins jungle safaris. Do morning & evening jeep safaris, on this day of tour package. Here jeeps safaris are operated in 2 slots i.e. morning round of approx. 5:30 hr and afternoon or evening safari of approx. 3:00 hr duration. Which means in this day we will spend approx. 08:00 hrs in exploring Kanha tiger reserve forest. During both the safari rounds, we have to carry our original ID documents (for foreigners, only active Passport is treated as ID document), for verification purpose and immeditely returned to guests. Here our resort will provide you water bottles and pack breakfast for morning safari round. For pack breakfast, we have to specify the resort front office team about our meal preference. Due to long morning safari duration, pack breakfast is worth to carry and consume. Due to mobile phone prohibition, during safari activity all visitors are advised to carry your own camera, for photography purpose. Forest of Kanha national park is spread over Satpura range and is full of amazing wildlife species like tigers, leopard, sloth bear, hard-ground Barasingha, Indian guar to various bird species. Here hard-ground Barasingha will be special attraction because this species is not found in Pench tiger reserve. Some of the easily seen birds are racket-tailed drongo, black drongo, crested serpent eagle, grey hornbill, black ibis, purple sunbird, jungle owlet, grey nightjar, Indian roller etc.

Day 03: Kanha national park safaris

Here we will do morning and evening safaris. Take your morning tea, pack breakfast, Id document, camera and board your safari vehicle. Early morning phase of jungle safari drive is purely dedicated for tiger tracking thus during morning rush, guides overlook other animals and devote their attention towards tiger tracking. Their are many ways to track the tiger location like update of last sighting location, discussion with passing by safari guides, pugmark tracking, alarm calls and their sixth sense. It is possible that in rush for tigers, we may have to compromise some other photography moments. Here our preference matters. If we are not tiger centric then don't miss any chance and keep on doing photography. Just remember that forest can give us surprise at any moment, without any hint thus always remain alert and active with camera. Such incidents happens with mostly leopard sighting, flying squirrel sighting etc. In middle phase of safari, we can try all type of photography like birds photography, insects photography, reptiles photography etc. Although guide is expert still during safari we also required to remain vigilant as it is possible that something may get missed by guide and driver and we will spot it. At any point of photography, we must need to immediately inform driver to stop the vehicle, for photography.

Day 04: Kanha national park - Pench national park

Do morning safari at Kanha national park. On completion of morning safari, we need to quickly do the check-out and drive to Pench national park. This will be approx. 04:00 hrs long drive thus if we leave on time then we have the possibility to catch the lunch, before it gets over. At evening hours, we will just relax, take round of resort campus and do preparations for next morning safari drive. Night safaris are closed thus we will not add any jungle safari for evening hours.

Day 05:Pench national park safaris

On 5th day of our tour package, we will begin the  morning and evening safaris. This forest cover is spread over Satpura range. It got its name Pench derived from Pench river which passes through this forest. It is a tropical dry and moist deciduous forest with dominance of teak trees. Another important introduction of this forest is its association with Rudyard Kipling's classic "The Jungle Book". It is believed that topography and animals description given in this book is inspired from this forest. Main character Mogli (The jungle boy) is also inspired from real life similar character, captured from Amodagarh region of this forest. Here promiment safari attractions are Leopards, Tigers, Sloth Bear, Spotted Deer, Indian Gaur, Jackals, Sambar Deer etc. This forest is also a great place for birds photography thus scan all the parts of forest, during your jeep safaris. We will try to cover different safari zones to majority of forest area and explore its beauty. For this we should must confirm in advance so that we can timely book the planned safari zones.

Day 07: Pench national park - Nagpur airport drop

This will be our last day of tour package. If time permits, we will do morning safari and later drop to Nagpur airport. O

1. Mobile phones, tablets are prohibited in all the national parks of India thus visitors should carry their own camera, for photography purpose.
2. Mask is advised to carry as safari trails are rough and vehicle movement produced dust.
