Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival - Khajuraho Airport - Panna National Park (40 min)

On arrival at Khajuraho airport, transfer to resort at Panna national park. As per our arrival timing, we will decide our day activity. If we will reach by 14:30 hr then we will not have chance to attend afternoon safari so after some relaxation, we will attend sound & light show at Western group of temples complex. It is an post sunset activity. If we will manager to reach Khajuraho before 13:30 hr then we have chance to plan for evening safari drive in this day.

Day 02: Panna National Park

Attend morning and evening jeep safari drives. We will do jeep safaris to explore the hidden wildlife treasures of this plateau based tiger reserve. Due to its plateau based topography, we will find rocky surface with no dense forest. It is an open forest with grasslands and hilly terrain where animals can be spotted from long distance but at the same time due to rocky surface, pugmark based tracking is not easily possible. Here major photography attractions will be tigers, cubs, leopards, vultures, blue bulls, sloth bears etc.

Day 03: Panna National Park

Do morning and evening jeep safari drives.

Day 05: Panna National Park - Khajuraho (45 min)

This will be our last day of tour package thus we will not do any safari but try to cover surrounding attractions. After relaxed breakfast, we will drive to Khajuraho town to visit its temples cluster. After a car drive, we will reach Khajuraho town and we will drive straight to Western group of temples complex as it has all popular temples collection like Kandariya Mahadeva temple, Vishnu temple, Varaha statue etc. This will be a guided tour so that we can understand great history of Chandela dynasty, making of temples, sculpture art and story behind its rediscovery. Later drop to nearby Khajuraho airport or railway station, for departure.
