On arrival at Nagpur railway station/airport, drive to Tadoba national park. Its distance from Nagpur city varies with the location of resort. On reaching you resort, relax & refresh yourself. Depending upon arrival timing, you may take evening safari. Overnight at resort in Tadoba national park.

Begin the day with jungle safari in Tadoba Andhari forest. It is dry deciduous forest with small lakes which ensures water availability in summers. It is largest national park of Maharashtra state in Vidarbha region which is known for tribal population. It is basically a dry region with high temperature and rich in minerals thus agricultural production is not so good due to which poverty can be experienced in villages. Population density is less thus forests are well preserved and wildlife is healthy. Forest vegetation is mainly mixed type with good presence of teak and bamboo forest. Here we have to note that core zones are close on every Tuesday and buffer zones are closed on every Wednesday. Camera fee is separately paid. Carrying mobile phones is not allowed for tourists thus better to switch it off and leave in the room. Due to straight sunlight and high temperature, always come with cap, sunglasses, full-sleeve cotton clothes and carry steel water bottles in chiller box. For tiger cubs safari we collect the tigress updates from local guides, using our local network and as per these updates, we choose our safari zones. At Tadoba forest, tiger sighting is very good in both core and buffer zones thus as per cubs sighting possibility, we will mix our safari zones selection with core and buffer safari zones. Due to arid zone, we will not find resorts with dense tree cluster as we will experience in Pench national park and Bandhavgarh. Still its drawbacks are overshadowed by good tiger sighting. Here we have to note that At Tadoba national park, every core zone have its own entry gate and these gates are minimum 1hr away from each other thus while staying at one resort we can cover one safari zone unless we take a long drive to other core zone gate. Thus here majority of safaris are combination of core zones and buffer zones. As per situation we will use the option of changing resorts to cover other good core zones. If we will undertake the tour in months like Nov to March, we can find tigers in different moods, different actions, green background, ground movements. Apart from tigers, we will have good chances for Sloth Bear, Leopards, Indian Gaur, Wild Dogs sighting. Overall means more meaning photographs. Overnight at resort in Tadoba national park.

Do morning safari and later drive to Pench national park. It is located in north of Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve, in Satpura hills. Travel distance varies as per our resorts location at Tadoba and Pench still for an idea we can take it as 230kms/05:00 hr drive. Road condition will be very good at all points. Pench tiger reserve is spread over Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh states thus here we will find that safari rules varies as per state. For exmple safari rule of Sillari and Khursapar zones are different from Touria and Karmajhiri zones and thus safari timing and duration also varies. In our tour, we will take safari experience of both the states. Pench forest will be more green, dense with majority of Teak, Tendu and Mahua trees. Cubs sighting chances will be high in safari zones like Touria, Khursapar and Teliya. As per ground information, we will decide our safari zones. Overnight at resort in Pench national park.

This will be our last day in Pench national park. Later we will drive further to Bandhavgarh. Travel distance from Pench to Bandhavgarh is approx. 350 kms/06:30 hr but road condition is good and offers views of varying locations, landscapes, local language variation, vegetation variation and most important variation is people's look also. At Pench majority of local public is Marathi language speaking and just after 100 kms drive towards Bandhavgarh, after crossing Seoni town, we will notice majority of local people are Hindi language speaking. While passing through Jabalpur city, take a journey break and resume the journey. Reach the Bandhavgarh by evening. On reaching, just relax at your room and do the preparations for next day safari. In this day, we will do morning and afternoon safaris. At Bandhavgarh 3 core zones i.e. Tala zone, Magadhi zone and Khitauli zones are important. All these 3 safari zones are important still cubs sighting chances will be high in Tala zone and Khitauli zone as topography of these zones is such that it offers natural shelters to tigers and cubs thus during safari season. As per local ground information we will choose our safari zones. At Bandhavgarh, cubs sighting chances are high near water holes, crossing safari trails, resting at grasslands near local rivulets and streams. Here many times, for cattle killing, tigress often moves into buffer zones thus as per tigress movements, we may choose some safari drives in buffer zones or remain ready for some last moment changes in safari zones. We can choose our safari zones are per sighting chances without caring for location of our resort. This freedom was not available in Pench and Tadoba national parks.
