Due to best flight & train connectivity option, we are using Gwalior as our entry and exit point. On arrival at Gwalior airport or railway-station, transfer to hotel. As per available time, do local sightseeing and attend evening sound and light show at Gwalior fort. Overnight at hotel in Gwalior.

We will utilize this day by doing Gwalior city tour. It is a city with many well maintained heritage buildings, monuments, tombs, palace, museum. Thus we will try to cover places like Gwalior fort, Teli ka mandir, Jai Vilas Palace museum, Ghaus Mohammad Tomb, Tansen Tomb etc.

After breakfast, drive from Gwalior to Chanderi (230kms). If we move just after having our morning breakfast, we can reach by afternoon and thus be able to do half-day sightseeing. Chanderi is a grand destination with long list of sightseeing places thus try to allocate more time here. Overnight at hotel in Chanderi.

After breakfast, we will continue the Chanderi sightseeing. Here we will visit to attractions like Badal Mahal, Chanderi fort, Khuni Darwaza, Shahzadi ka Rauza, Khandagiri, Kati Ghati gateway, Ramnagar museum & lake, Koshak Mahal, Chanderi museum, Battisi Baoli, Jama masjid etc.

After breakfast, we will drive from Chanderi to Khajuraho (230kms). This will be half-day journey thus we should begin our journey, after breakfast. On reaching Khajuraho, by afternoon, we can have lunch and relax for sometime. Later in evening, we will do the sightseeing of western and eastern group of temples. After sunset, we have the option to go for sound and light show. Overnight at hotel in Khajuraho.

For wildlife lovers, they have option to attend morning jungle safari at Panna national park. It is just 40 kms from Khajuraho and now a popular tiger safari destination. If not interested in jungle safari then we will cover Rahen fall and Pandav fall in this day. Overnight at hotel in Khajuraho.

After breakfast, drive from Khajuraho to Orchha (180 kms). On reaching Orchha, we will relax and have lunch. Later we will do the local sightseeing. Orchha in Madhya Pradesh is a beautiful small township on the bank of Betwa river. Place is small but very photogenic. Here Hindu god Rama is treated as local king. Here main places to visit are Jahangir fort, Orchha fort, cenotaphs on riverside, Rai Praveen palace, Raja Ram temple, Laxmi Narayan temple and riverside visit. Adventure lovers may try river rafting in winters. Rafting will depend upon the water level. Overnight at hotel in Orchha.

This will be our last day of tour package. For those who are traveling by train may choose Jhansi railway station for departure where as for flight transfer, we need to drive from Orchha to Gwalior. As per our flight or train timing, we will leave Orchha and catch our flight or train.
