Safari Timing at Pench

Introduction

Pench national park is spread over 2 states i.e. Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Maharashtra state. Due to 2 states involvement, here you will find 2 different safari timings for safari zones falling under each state. While planning for a safari tour, we should must know the safari timings for our travel dates. By knowing this information, we can do proper planning and able to get answers to many questions like:

  • If we want to do jungle safari on day of arrival, then by what time, we should be at our Pench resort so that catch the safari?
  • Safari on day of arrival is possible or not ?
  • How many jungle safaris are possible in our tour duration, as per our fixed arrival and departure timings ?

Sudden change in timing

Every national park management retains the right to make sudden change in safari timing in emergency situation. This we can experience in situations like wild elephants entered into any particular safari zone and it was declared closed for visitors. Similarly during tiger census, we notice that delayed entry rule will get implemented for few dates.
