Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival

On arrival at Nagpur airport/railway station, drive to Tadoba national park (150kms). Here road condition is almost good. Tadoba national park is having 3 entrance gate where proper accommodation facilities are available and thus tourists selects in between them. So according to location of our lodge we will reach Tadoba national park. On reaching our resort, just relax in the room and do the necessary preparations for next day safari. Here we can better utilize this day if we are reaching before by noon. In such case, we can add a evening safari drive, just after taking lunch meal.

Day 02:

In this we will attend both morning & evening jungle safari to explore wildlife at Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve. Here we will try our luck to find out Royal Bengal tiger in wilderness along with other mammals, birds and reptiles. Here tourists have good chance to do tiger photography as sighting records are good here.

Day 03:

Do morning and evening safari. Here we will continue to explore the Tadoba forest in morning and afternoon safari round. Due to high tiger density, it is very popular thus we must do our safari booking in advance. It lies in Vidarbha region which is more dry deciduous region. Even day time temperature will also be high in compare to national park at neighboring Madhya Pradesh state. Apart from tigers, we will try for sloth bear, sambar, spotted deer, leopard photography.

Day 04:

In this day we will take morning safari drive at Tadoba national park. This will be our last jeep safari in this park. After safari completion, we will get back to our resort, take shower and lunch. Later we will drive toward north direction for visiting Pench national park. This will be a drive in which we will notice many changes like change of state, change of geographical conditions, change of culture, change of local lifestyle, change of economic status. We will drive from Maharashtra state to Madhya Pradesh state. this will be a drive from dry and backward Vidarbha region to flourishing Satpura range forest area. We will notice that Madhya Pradesh state is in better condition in terms of local public economic status, local housing patterns, agricultural productivity, dense forest etc. We are expected to reach Pench national park by evening hours, may be before sunset. Journey will be smooth beacuse road conditions are very good and we will avoid entry into any densly populated city or town. On reaching our Pench resort, just relax and do the preparations for next morning safari drive.

Day 05:

We will begin the 5th day of tour package with our first jeep safari drive at Pench national park. After lunch, we will take our evening jeep safari drive.

Day 06:

We will begin the 5th day of tour package with our first jeep safari drive at Pench national park. We will do both, morning and night safari drives. At Pench national park, we will take at least one night safari drive to explore the night life possibilities. Here night safaris are better thus we will take a single chance and try our luck. During night safari drive, we have chance to see tigers movement, leopards, sloth bear and if more lucky then we may have wolf sighting..

Day 07:

If time permits, plan for last jeep safari drive on this day. If you are not interested for any more safaris then use this morning time to do village visit. Here we can find pottery village where we can find the artistic work by village artists, get practical exposure towards pottery making by local artists and in required, we may do some shopping also.

1. As tour package involves popular safari destinations thus advance booking is highly recommended.
2. If you are planning with senior citizen or small children then try to visit before April month as at Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve (Vidarbha region) temperature remain higher than other surrounding tiger reserves. Heat waves may be a fitness challange for them.
