Officially safari zone change is not allowed. Once we book the safari zone permit, we can't edit it. We can only do its cancellation and bear the due cancellation charges. If guest want to change the safari zone then available option is to do fresh booking of desired safari zone permit, depending upon the availability of permit/s and later on cancel the existing safari zone permit.

Why safari zone change is not allowed ?

Every park management issues limited safari permits. At every national park, we will notice some safari zones will be favorite of tourists thus their demand remains high and mostly get sold out early. Every tourist will try to get safari permit of those popular safari zone/s. As limited permits are issued and when they get sold out then it is not possible for others to book anymore permit of those popular safari zone/s. New booking will depend upon the on availability generated due to some cancellations. Park management does not offer any provision online or offline, to change the existing safari zone. If provision offered then it will create challenges in operations as people will book less popular zone and keep on trying to change it later on, instead of respecting their own decision to visit in booked zone. Such things create scope for malpractices. Park management doesn't see its safari zone in a discriminative way. Thus we need to be careful while booking our safari permits.

How to change safari zone ?

We can do so by going through following steps:

1. Check if safari permits are available at your desired safari slot on particular safari date/s or not ?
2. If not available, then drop the idea. If available then before booking, check the cancellation charges that will be incurred due to cancellation of existing permits. In close dates, cancellation charges will be very high. If guest is agree to pay cancellation charges and pay for fresh safari permits then proceed further to book the fresh safari permit.
3. Once fresh desired safari zone permits get booked then do the cancellation of existing safari zone permits. Keep record of cancelled permits and fresh permits.
4. Any refund on cancelled safari permits will be issued by park management in 7-10 days, after deduction of their operational charges.
