At Bandhavgarh natioal park, jungle safari is the main activity to do. Here mostly jeep safaris and canter safaris are done by tourists. Due to high density of tigers, walking safari is officially not operated by park management thus vehicle based safari is the only way to explore the forest area. Here safaris are operated in core zones and buffer zones. Jeep safaris in buffer zones are open throughout the year where as core zones are open from October to June month only.
