Safari Essentials
Let's checkout safari essentials:
- We must carry our safari permit with us. Before leaving for trip, check safari permit details carefully like safari date, morning or evening slot, all visitor names, safari zone name, permit status etc.
- Identity document of each visitor should must be carried during safari drives. For Indian nationals, identity document could be PAN card, Adhar card, Driving License, Voter id card, active passport, government employee id card. For Non-resident Indians, OCI card is also acceptable as identity document and entitles guest for Indian national safari permit. For foreign nationals only active passport is treated as their identity document. After verification, must collect back your identity document.
- Carry your own water bottles during all type of safaris. It is optional but equivalent to mandatory.
- Carry your own camera to capture safari moments. Do not rely on mobile phone as they are banned during all type of safari drives. Carrying camera is option for all visitors.
- Carry your own binocular for birding, tracking any animal movement from long distance, check leopards movement etc. It is optional but very useful.
- Carry a small bag will be very helpful to keep safari items intact like camera, binocular, sunglasses, cap etc.
